ROYAL PLACE MAPPING | FELIPE VI 10th ANNIVERSARY

PROJECTION MAPPING | visual content

In June, the magnificent Royal Palace was transformed into a canvas of light and color to celebrate the 10th anniversary of King Felipe VI's reign. This grand projection mapping event illuminated the historic architecture, with a projection mapping spanning more than 80 meters in length and 30 meters in height. Stunning visuals brought to life the journey and milestones of the King’s decade-long rule.

For this project, blit. collaborated with the agency Michael & Markus and Telefonica, who led the overall art direction. Based on their initial concepts, we took on the task of transforming the designs into 3D art pieces, animating them and bringing them to life in perfect harmony with the unique façade of the Royal Palace. This seamless blend of tradition and modernity wove a narrative of Spain's rich heritage and the King’s contributions. blit.'s expertise in 3D mapping, animation, and creative storytelling made this celebration a truly unforgettable experience.
